Signature Esports eNASCAR Series Rules

Section 1.1


  1. $5 a Driver to Reserve a Number and is considered a Series Due. This is the first implementation of the Series Dues. It will go a long way to pay for the cost of running the leagues, website, broadcasts, and assist in payouts.

Section 1.2

  1. CUP (Advanced)

One Season of SECS or

Series Cap Minimum iRating 2000- NO Maximum iRating. Lower iRatings will be considered if a driver is deemed to have the ability to compete in the series by an admin or ownership.
MMR -Match Making Rating will be called a SE-Rating and adjusted based on the initial iRating from iRacing. This will be adjusted through race/practice/qualifying results and develop a more accurate source of rating for our eNASCAR Series promotion and demotion

  1. XFINITY (Intermediate)

One Season of SECS, SETS or

Series Cap Minimum iRating 1800-Maximum iRating 4000 Lower/Higher iRatings will be considered if a driver is deemed to have the ability to compete in the series by an admin or ownership.

MMR -Match Making Rating will be called a SE-Rating and adjusted based on the initial iRating from iRacing. This will be adjusted through race/practice/qualifying results and develop a more accurate source of rating for our eNASCAR Series promotion and demotion 


  1. TRUCK (Beginner)

One Season of SECS, SETS or

Series Cap Minimum iRating 1000 – Maximum iRating 3000 Lower/Higher iRatings will be considered if a driver is deemed to have the ability to compete in the series by an admin or ownership.

MMR -Match Making Rating will be called a SE-Rating and adjusted based on the initial iRating from iRacing. This will be adjusted through race/practice/qualifying results and develop a more accurate source of rating for our eNASCAR Series promotion and demotion

Section 1.3

Crossover Regulations – 

  1. If a full-time Series driver wishes to run a race in a different series they must complete the following.

1. They must submit a request to Each Series Admin. If the request is accepted they will be invited to the league on iRacing and they will be given the Corresponding Role in Discord. If the request is denied you may not participate in the race or practice sessions that week. You may submit another request for a future race.

***After that race has concluded the driver will be removed from the league and the role in Discord will also be removed. This is to prevent drivers from running in future races without permission from the league admins.

  1. Form submissions- Go to SignatureEsports.com to find the driver entry request form, select the series in which to request to be racing in, and submit the form. 
  2. All Forms must be received prior to midnight on Tuesday on the current race week that the driver wishes to compete in. No forms after that will be accepted.

Note: The maximum number of Crossover races a Driver can run is 3 per season, across the entire eNASCAR Series. They also may NOT participate in the first race of the year (Daytona) or any Cup Series Playoff Races. 

Section 1.4

Driver Numbers Selection

1ST Priority is Teams- It is the responsibility of the Team Owner to find out what numbers need to be assigned, but it is the Drivers’ responsibility to pay their dues.

2nd Priority is Drivers- This will be a lottery System for non Team affiliated drivers. We will randomly draw a name using the wheel and then a driver will be able to pick their number.

Section 2.0


  1. All teams are required to have no less than 2 drivers and no more than 4 drivers.
  2. Affiliations are not permitted due to the integration of team championship points.
  3. During race times, teams are limited to 4 drivers and up to 4 spotters in one Discord channel. 
  4. Teams are required to run the same manufacturer in their series for the entire season. 
  5. Team Owners are required to register the team on Signature E-Sports’ website, As well as paying $20 to reserve 4 driver positions. Numbers are not included. 
  6. In the event a driver cannot attend a race, a substitute driver is only allowed if the substitute driver is currently enrolled in that same team in a different series. (Rowdy Motorsports Drivers can Substitute for another Rowdy Motorsports Team in a different Series). This will count towards the 3 up – 3 down rule. The driver must fill the position for the existing number on the team
  7. Team owners are allowed to promote a driver from one series to another permitting that driver is eligible for promotion. 
  8. Driver Penalties will carry to team penalties at a 1 to 5 ratio. for every 5 driver penalty points, the team will receive 1 team penalty point. 
  9. If a driver is suspended or removed from racing in the series the team has 1 week to replace that driver
  10. Intentional Wrecking carries the same penalty from the driver penalty points to the team penalty points. 
  11. Team substitutions need to be approved by league admins prior to midnight on Tuesday the race week of the substitution.
  12. Drivers Substituting will need to carry the substituted driver’s number. 

Section 3.0


  1. Two practices for each series will be scheduled each week. Drivers are encouraged to attend one of the two practices in order to be comfortable with that track for each week’s race.

-Practice 1 will be 25% the length of the series race week. Practice 2 will be 50% of the length of the series race week.

-Practices will be treated as an official Signature Esports function and conduct in each session will be held to the standard of all Signature Esports Rules and Regulations.

Cup Series Practices 

-Monday 8 PM EST 25% of the Length
-Tuesday 8 PM EST 50% Length

Xfinity Series Practices

-Monday 8 PM EST 25% of the Length

-Tuesday 8 PM 50% of the Length

Truck Series Practices

-Monday 8 pm EST 25% of the Length

-Tuesday 8 pm EST 50% of the Length

Section 3.1
A. Sessions are a practice and lone qualifying session.

  1. Cup Qualifying – Wednesday 10 pm EST
  2. Xfinity Qualifying – Wednesday 9 pm EST
  3. Truck Qualifying – Wednesday 8 pm EST

B. Drivers are only allowed to enter 1 qualifying session for the series they are allowed to run. Any Driver that enters more than one session will have their time disqualified and will not be eligible to race. (If a drivers name is listed as connecting to more than one session, this will be included in the above-mentioned rule)

C. Qualifying will be 2 laps unless otherwise stated. The pole winner will be awarded 3 bonus points and has the choice of inside or outside row for the start of the race.

D. Exit the pits in a safe manner. If you cross the yellow lines and enter the racecourse before you reach the blue line/cone at the exit of turn 2 iRacing will give you a penalty for “Unsafe Pit Exit”. -This rule will not be reviewed by the admin team at any time. You must come in and serve your black flag.

E. After the qualifying run is completed drivers must return to pit road and park their vehicle in their assigned pit stall. (Stopping and Resetting doesn’t give you the credit for all of the corners)

F. Going backward on pit road during qualifying will be subject to a penalty.

G. If you are disqualified in a qualifying session, your times will not be counted and will be ineligible to race that week. A posted time must be achieved in order to race. *01-20-21 Clarifying this rule as a posted qualifying time must be achieved in order to be listed in the starting order for the race. (Qualify to Race). If the session boots you and an admin can verify this, you will be allowed to start at the tail end of the field at the start of the race. This includes if incident points DQ your laps.

H. Failure to comply with qualifying rules will result in a DQ from the Qualifying Session.

  1. Taking advantage of the session will not be tolerated(revving your engines to lose fuel weight, asking for a black flag to be cleared while speeding on pit road, burning your tires off at the end of pit road, etc)
  2. Drivers must make an adequate attempt to qualify. (Within the standard of laps ran by other drivers.) Running intentionally off the pace to start at the end of the field or otherwise will result in that driver’s times being disqualified and a 25pt penalty being assessed and a 15 Team Points penalty.

J. An admin or race controller will be present to oversee the Qualifying Session

K. Before each race week, starting week 2 of the season, an intent to race message will be posted in discord and a reply (generally a thumbs up the reaction) will be necessary for the knowledge of the admins on who will be attempting to qualify for that week. If you do not select the appropriate reaction, your qualifying attempts will not be accepted.

Section 3.2

  1. Intentional wrecking is not permitted and will be reviewed. 
  2. Lapped cars are not expected to yield to lead lap cars. Lapped cars should run a predictable line so that the lead lap driver can predict where they can or should pass a lapped car. If you absolutely have to take the apron, you are required to maintain your vehicle underneath the yellow line and off of the racing surface until you are clear in your relative to proceed on to the racing surface with caution. Failure to follow this rule will result in a Black Flag penalty if a wreck is caused.
  3. The leader may choose which lane to start/restart in. The leader needs to let the field know before you cross the start-finish line with two to green.
  4. Racing starts/resumes when the green flag drops. Jumping the start will be reviewed and a green flag stop and go penalty will be given. You may pass another driver before the start/finish line if a wreck occurs and you are avoiding the incident. If you pass before the start-finish line, a 40-second hold black flag will be given. 
  5. Passing below the yellow line on superspeedways will be assessed in the same fashion, however, you will have 15 seconds to relinquish the position to the driver you passed. The replay will be reviewed after the race and you will be given a 10 point penalty.
  6. If a driver is forced below the yellow line on superspeedways the driver that forced the vehicle below the yellow line will be required to give up their position to that driver within 15 seconds, or serve a 30-second hold black flag under green conditions. 
  7. Passing the pace car before the green flag is not permitted. Leaders must maintain pace car speed until the green flag shows. Failure to do so will result in a delayed caution and the leader will receive an EOL (End of the Longest Line Penalty).
  8. Bump drafting in the corners/tri ovals is unnecessary and a 30-second black flag hold will be issued once the green flag comes back out, if a wreck occurs as a result of it.
  9. Should a wreck occur, do your best to SLOW DOWN and avoid it. Please do not hit the gas and bulldoze through it.
  10. If you are forced onto the apron or below the racing surface during green flag conditions DO NOT force yourself back onto the track. Stay on the apron and fall back in line when it is safe to resume on-track racing.
  11. If a wreck involving a chase driver(s) occurs during the final lap of any elimination race, the final positions will be scored by iRacing regardless of who is at fault.
  12. ALL DRIVERS WILL HAVE ZERO FAST REPAIRS UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. If an error is made in the session set up and fast fixes appear they are not to be used. Drivers found using a fast repair will be disqualified. We will run with the honor system but if a driver is found to have accidentally used a fast repair and does not own up, they will be taken out of the race stats altogether. (i.e. no points no standings etc.)
  13. Laying back on restarts to gain positions will be reviewed after the race and a 10 point penalty will be assessed per each incident.
  14. Intentionally wrecking after the race is prohibited. Race winners are allowed to do the customary burnout celebration. Teammates are allowed to participate with the approval of the winner and race control. If you choose to intentionally wreck after the competition of the race a 10 point penalty will be assessed for violating this rule, along with a 1-week suspension. A second violation will be removed from the league. This rule is put in place so other drivers completing their race are not affected by your actions.

Section 3.3


A. Pace car speed should be maintained at all times under caution. If you start causing an accordion you will be given an EOL.

1. Failure to maintain pace speed will result in an EOL being issued.

2. Vehicles should maintain a single file formation until instructed by iRacing to go 2 wide with one lap to green. If you choose to drive off course during a caution, you will be given an EOL for not staying on the track. This includes bus stops, grass, etc.
3. During cautions, stay in the low line to allow wave-around cars and the lucky dog recipient to pass on the high side. This will help shorten up the caution periods.
4. There will be NO admin cautions thrown unless an incident happens and is deemed by a non-racing admin to be absolutely necessary and iRacing does not throw the flag.

B. If you are involved in an accident in the final laps of a race, you must cross the finish line at the checkered flag under your own power. You must be able to maintain pace speed under your own power. You may not be pushed by another driver. If you are pushed to the finish by another car/truck, both drivers will be placed in last place on their respective lap.

C. Entering closed pits under caution. iRacing gives you an indication of when pits are open to drivers. If you pit when pit-road is closed to you, black flags will not be cleared for any reason. Please have the appropriate screen up to show you when you are eligible to pit. 

  1. Lead Lap Cars are eligible as soon as the leaders reach the pace car
  2. Lap down cars are eligible on the next lap as soon as the leaders have completed their pit cycle. ​

Section 3.4


A. Wrecked race cars will be given an EOL if they can not maintain pace speed. If you are driving slowly on the apron due to severe damage, please ask Race control for an EOL. This will prevent unnecessary black flags from being issued to cars that pass you.
B. If you can not make it back to pit road while maintaining pace speed you must tow your vehicle. Failure to follow this rule will result in disqualification from the race.



  1. Please enter and exit the pit road safely and enter your pit box within 4-5 pit boxes of your stall. Failure to comply will result in an EOL
  2. You must stay on the apron after exiting pit road until you reach the blue cone. Failure to do so will result in a black flag issued to you by iRacing. this will not be cleared by admins!
  3. Anyone using the fast repair glitch will be permanently removed from the league and may not reapply.
  4. Racing a competitor leaving pit road is permitted, however, if you get a speeding penalty black flags will not be cleared!

Section 4.0


  1. If for any reason you are suspended, you are suspended from both the League and Signature Esports Events for the specified period of time. This includes spotting, practicing, special events, etc.
    Causing an avoidable incident(causing a yellow flag) – EOL
    second offense – Parked for the Remainder of the Race
  1. Intentional Wrecking -25 point penalty
    second offense 2-week suspension
    the third offense you will be removed from the league
  1. Causing 3 or more cautions in a race –25 pts penalty and a 1-week suspension
  1. Intentionally causing a caution – intentionally spinning out/crashing to help yourself or a teammate will result in loss of all session points and a 2-week suspension for the driver and teammates involved.
    the second offense you will be removed from the league
  1. Causing another driver to get a black flag – 5 pt penalty per car involved.
  1. If a driver is disqualified from 2 races for any reason they will receive a 30 pt penalty. (For Conduct)

                3 races will result in 2 race suspension.

        4 races will result in removal from the series.

  1. If for any reason you are disqualified from a race, you will lose all race and bonus points for that race unless disqualified for incident point limits.
  2. In the event you disconnect for any reason (Including Power Outages, Internet Issues ETC) you will receive Last Place points for that race. 
  3. Jumping the start/restart of a race – 10 pts penalty. 
  4. Dumping a Driver on the last lap of a race 25 pts penalty and 0 finishing points.
  5. If a driver causes an avoidable incident within the first lap of a start of a race, that driver will receive a 30-second green flag hold in pits. If the same driver causes another avoidable incident(bringing out a caution) during any point of the same race after this, that driver will be disqualified for the session.
  6. Using Hacks, Cheats, or Exploiting iRacing/League Rules will result in immediate dismissal from the Series and will be reported to iRacing. 
  7. Using live streams, discord channels, or any public forum to complain about the race happenings or any driver in the league/signature esports is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in immediate removal from all Signature Esports Events.
  8. Causing an avoidable incident – 3 point penalty per car involved
  9. Hard braking – 5 point penalty per car involved
  10. Superspeedway blocking causing an incident – 5 point penalty per car involved. Unless it is 2 to go.
  11. Passing below the yellow at SS tracks – 15 point penalty
    (passing stopped or wrecking cars to avoid an incident is ok).
  12.  Actions detrimental to Signature Esports – Immediate removal from the Series.
  13. Blocking is strongly discouraged and unnecessary(Along with being against the iRacing Sporting Code). If an avoidable incident is caused by blocking a 5 pt penalty per car involved will be assessed.
  14. IF for any reason you are suspended from a series for conduct you will lose your right to be Playoff Eligible (Cup Series)

C. Penalty Points will be assessed at the end of each race. EOL’s for causing avoidable incidents will not be given during the race unless it is on the first lap of the race.

-The following scenarios warrant black flags being cleared: passing a car under caution that can not maintain pace speed, entering the pits to avoid a wreck. There may be additional circumstances to this rule and will be reviewed and corrected as soon as possible at our discretion. 

  1. Black flags/penalties will be cleared as soon as it is reasonable for race control to take such action. Wave Arounds will not be issued from Race control and will be only given by the iRacing Standard of racing

Section 5.0
BONUSES Cup Series

  1. Race Win 5
  2. Pole Position + 5 Points
  3. Leading a Lap + 1 Point
  4. Leading Most Laps + 3 Points
  5. Fastest Race Lap + 1 point
  6. “NVIDIA” hard charger award +1 point (gain the most positions)
  7. Clean award (Finishing a complete Race with 0 incident points/must complete 75% of race)+5 point
  8. Win Regular Season Race – locked in the chase as long as you are in the top 16 in points.

Section 6.0
Signature Series Championship/Chase Setup/Rules

*The Xfinity Series and Truck Series will run on the Points and Points alone for the Championship. The Driver with the most points at the end of the season will win the Championship.

  1. The chase will consist of 16 drivers and has Four rounds
  2. Substitute drivers are not permitted for chase drivers at any point during the chase.
  3. You must compete in 70% of the regular season races to be eligible for the chase, or to be eligible for the Championship in the Xfinity and Truck Series.
  4. Drivers with a win and in the top 16 in points are automatically qualified for the chase. The remainder of the chase field will be set via season points standings for drivers without a win until we have 16 drivers. In the event of a tiebreaker, we will go by the amount of total top 5’s. If we need another tiebreaker we will use total top 10’s
  5. Regular season wins will count for 5 points in the first round, 0 points in the second round, and 0 points in the 3rd round.
  6. The first 3 rounds of the chase will consist of 3 races. the final round will be 1 race. There will be no bonus points issued during the final race and it will be a heads up race.
  7. If you win a race during the first 3 rounds of the chase, the winning driver will automatically advance to the next round.
  8. Winning a chase race will not give you any additional bonus points towards the next round
  1. Round one will consist of 16 drivers(points reset at 2,000 + 5 points for each Regular Season race win) and will be 3 races. The lowest 4 drivers at the end of round one will be eliminated from the chase
  2. Round two will consist of 12 drivers(points reset at 3,000 + 5 points for each round 1 win) and will be 3 races. The lowest 4 at the end of round two will be eliminated from the chase
  1. Round three will consist of 8 drivers(points reset at 4,000 + 5 points for each round 2 win) and will be 3 races. The lowest 4 at the end of round three will be eliminated from the chase

  2. Round four will consist of 4 drivers. (points reset at 5,000 points) this is a heads up race with no bonus points for the 4 chase drivers. The highest finisher will be the champion!

Section 7.1

Team Championship Payouts – (Based on 60%/25%/15% of the team buy-ins)

Cup – Team iRating Caps 2-drivers 6,000, 3-drivers 9,000, 4-drivers 12,000

Xfinity – Team iRating Caps 2-drivers 5,000, 3-drivers 7,500, 4-drivers 10,000

Truck- Team iRating Caps 2-drivers 3,750, 3-drivers 5,625, 4-drivers 7,500

Team Points are awarded according to the average finish of the drivers on the team. (No Matter the Team Size) According to the 43 point scale.

Section 8.0

RACE CHAT/discord
1. Race chat should be used to communicate with other drivers regarding the race. Any personal conversation should be conducted in your personal discord channel. We will be using discord and can create a private team channel at your request.

2. Use of discord during the race is required as our broadcaster interviews random drivers during caution periods and interviews the top 3 finishers after the race. You are requested to participate in post-race interviews if you finish in the top 3.

3. There will be absolutely zero arguing about penalties during the race. Penalties can be appealed after the race.

4. If you choose to engage in arguments on race chat, you will be told by an admin to stop. If you continue to argue after your warning you will be disqualified for the race and all points for the event will be forfeited.

5. Any comments deemed overly disrespectful/hateful to an admin or another racer will result in you being disqualified and banned from the session for the first offense. On the second offense, you will be removed from the league.

6. This can and will not be appealed. you may reapply to the league at the conclusion of the season. if admins decide to let you re-enter the league, it will be on a permanent probationary basis. If you violate this rule again, you will be banned for life.

7. Cyberbullying is not welcome in this league. Any member who violates this rule will be removed from the league. This includes race chat, all social media platforms, discord, etc.

8. Any driver that is not in discord prior to qualifying will be disqualified and removed from the session

A.  Your connection to the server is not controlled or maintained by Signature Esports. If you experience connection issues during any event there is nothing we can do to help you. If you are disconnected you may re-enter the server. however, no wave around will be given.
B. If you are asked to drop to the back of the field due to connection issues, and you fail to do so in a timely manner, you will be disqualified and removed from the session and receive no points for the event (including bonus points).
C. If your car is blinking and the issue isn’t corrected in a timely manner, you will be asked to drop to the back of the field until the issue is corrected. If the issue continues and it causes an accident during the race session, you will be asked to park your car in the pits. You will not be penalized for having to park it.
D. If you have to park your car due to connection issues, you will earn points for the position you are scored in at the conclusion of the race.
